Research Goals
To understand the mechanisms of formation of neuronal synapses and vesicular trafficking allowing transport of synaptic proteins during maintenance and plasticity of excitatory and inhibitory synapses.
Qualifications and Personal History
PhD in Neurosciences (2000-2004), at Pierre & Marie Curie University (Paris VI, France), in Antoine Triller 's Laboratory (Ecole Normale supérieure) with Alain Bessis. Formation and maturation of inhibitory synapses in hippocampal neurons.
Recipient of fellowships from the French Research Ministry (FRM), from the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale (FRM) and from the Lilly Institute.
Postdoctoral work (2005-2010) in Thierry Galli's team at Institut Jacques Monod, Paris Diderot University (Paris 7, France).
Recipient of a fellowship from the Association pour la Recherche sur le Cancer.
